Movie Review:

Movie Andaz Apna Apna is a romantic comedy film.It involves Salman Khan and Aamir Khan for the first time, together they managed to pull some wonderful comic sequences. The movie revolves around the life of Amar Manohar ( Aamir Khan ) and Prem Bhopali ( Salman Khan ), both are good for nothing. They wanted to become rich by marrying the daughters of a rich person. Their dreams took the face of reality when they came to know that Raveena ( Raveena Tandon ), the daughter of a rich man Ram Gopal Verma ( Paresh Rawal ) is arriving from abroad to marry Indian boy.

Raveena came with her secretary and friend Karisma ( Karisma Kapoor ). Both Amar and Prem tried to woo the girls and finally succeeded in getting close to them. Amar managed to impress Raveena while Karishma went with Prem, but soon Amar came to know that actually Karisma is the daughter of Ram Gopal Verma and she is the secretary. Now nothing can be done as they are in love. Soon the movie turned more chaotic with the arrival of Ram Gopal and his brother Teja who is a lookalike of him, a criminal. Teja kidnapped his brother and replaced himself at his place to take away the illusive diamonds but Amar Prem came for the rescue in their own style.

Overall, movie is awesome and entertaining. Chemistry among the khans was widely appreciated.Movie was above average at Box Office.

Movie Review:

Movie "Andaz" is a funny family drama  with lots of excitement.Story starts with Rajoo (Rajesh Khanna) who lives a wealthy lifestyle alongwith his father (Ajit) in his palatial house. He has fallen in love with a young and beautiful woman named Sheetal (Hema Malini). Soon his father comes to know about their relationship but he does not accept this as he wants Rajoo to marry with his choice of girl. Rajoo also very well aware of his father’s opposition and then they both decide to marry in a simple temple ceremony. Soon his father comes to know about their marriage but he vehemently opposes this marriage and also refuses to accept Sheetal as his daughter-in-law. Soon Sheetal gets pregnant and expected to give birth to his child.

But misfortune strikes as Rajoo meets with an accident and passes away leaving behind his wife devastated. Later she gives birth to a baby boy and named him as Deepu (Master Alankar). After that she seeks a job so that she can meets their livelihood. She gets a job as a teacher and meets one of her student named Munni whoes father named Ravi (Shammi Kapoor) who is also a widower. After sometime both of them come close to each other and decide to marry. But it is not so easy as Ravi’s mother (Achla Sachdev) objects to this marriage. She also accuses Sheetal of being a woman of questionable means. Also a village belle named Mahuva (Aruna Irani) commits suicide and Ravi is blamed for this as she had a crush on him.Overall, the movie is good and entertaining.

Music And Singers:

Music of the movie is given by famous duo Shankar-Jaikishan while songs of the movie were sang by Asha Bhosle, Suman Kalyanpur, Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Rafi and Sushma Shreshta.

Anarkali 1953: Movie Review, Poster And Songs

Movie Review:

The movie falls in romantic drama category.Story starts with Shahenshah Jalaudin Akbar (Mubarak) who lives a leavish lifestyle in his palace. He is the son of Humayun and grandson of Babbar. Also he is very well known to have ruled over whole India as well as treating people with justice and heart. He knows very well that he has to treat the Hindu community very sensitively and for this reason he has also married with a Hindu Rajput named Jodabai (Ruby Mayer) who is the sister of Raja Man Singh (S.L. Puri). Soon he becomes proud father of a son and named Shehzada Salim (Pradeep Kumar). Later one day Akbar comes across a beautiful young woman named Nadira (Bina Rai) who is standing in an Anar garden and is waiting for her lover.Akbar meets her and becomes so pleased that he wants to give her a reward, but she only asked for an Anar. Therefore he gives her the name of Anarkali. Also he meets her again next time when she helped Salim during a war in Kabul in which Salim got seriously wounded. Once again Akbar wants to reward her but she let him down again. Later the whole court alongwith Akbar get stunned when Anarkali dances and sings under the influence of alcohol and later they come to know about Salim and Anarkali’s love story. But Akbar is not ready to accept his son’s demand of marrying her as she is poor as well as a courtisean in his court.And thus story goes. Overall, the movie is good and was immense popular. It can be four out of five stars.

Music And Singers:

Music of the movie is given by C. Ramchandra and songs are sung by Geeta Dutt, Lata Mangeshkar and Hemanta Mukherjee. Lyrics of the songs were written by Rajendra Krishan, Shailendra and Hasrat Jaipuri.

Movie Review:

This indian bollywood film is a comedy drama movie full of action.Story starts with Govinda has played double role in the movie. Movie starts with Raja (Govinda) who is employed as a lowly waiter in a hotel. One day a guest comes in his hotel and it is upto him to serve and looks after him. That guest is non other than a wealthy businessman K.K (Kader Khan) who gets very pleased with Raja’s way of attending him and services. He lends him a suit and gives him some money, so that he could find a rich woman to woo and marry. Raja goes in search of that type of woman when he sees Sapna (Raveena Tandon) in a car and thinks that she is rich. He successfully woos her and wins her heart. But the fact is Sapna too is on the lookout for a rich prince charming as she is also a servant in a house.Businessman K.K has a daughter named Sona (Simran) who is an air hostess and loves Rahul Saxena (Govinda). She meets him to his father who misunderstands him as Raja and insults him. Here Sapna and Raja both gets to know the truth about each others and they concoct a plot to kidnap Rahul Saxena with the help of a garage owner named Sattarbhai (Satish Shah) while Raja takes his place. He meets Rahul’s step-mother Sharda (Aruna Irani) and his father Dhanraj Saxena (Satyendra Kapoor). The plan goes wrong when Raja is kidnapped in place of Rahul. Here Rahul somehow manages to escape from his kidnappers and meets Raja where he has been kept by the kidnappers and releases him. Then Raja fights the goons and makes everything safe.

Music of the movie is given by Babloo Chakravarty, Dilip Sen and Sameer Sen.Songs are beautifully sung by  Abhijeet, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Amit Kumar, Udit Narayan, Jaspinder Narula, Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik.

Movie Review:

This bollywood movie falls into the category of romantic family drama films.The movie has a refreshing story that revolves around the life of a rich business man called Arn Anand ( Dev Anand ), he is married to a beautiful lady ( Rakhee Gulzaar ) but his life isn’t as happy as he would ever thought of. His wife is unable to conceive a baby and as a result their relationship is not good. Arun soon gets attracted towards his beautiful secretary Kiran ( Smita Patil ) and started liking her, one day in the high emotions of love they had a close night of intimacy. This resulted in Kiran being pregnant.Now Arun is worried about the whole saga and her didn’t wanted this news to reach his wife’s ears. He found a solution to this problem, he managed to convince one of his loyal employees Pratap Singh ( Raj Babbar ), to marry Kiran until she conceives his baby and after that he was supposed to divorce. And in return he paid Pratap a huge sum of money. But there was another twist in the story, Pratap was impotent and he wanted to keep the baby to prove that he is potent. This didn’t go well with Arun and he left the city with Kiran. Time passed by and now their son Varun ( Sunil Anand ) is a big boy who lives with his legal father Pratap. What happens when the reality unearths in front of him? Thus the movie rolls. Overall, the movie is good and maintains the interest. Contribution by actors is superb and hence film was above average.

Music of the movie is cool and is given by Rahul Dev Burman. Songs are sung in beautiful voices of Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Abhijeet, Asha Bhonsle and others.

Movie Review:

This old hindi bollywood is a family drama film about Deepak. Story starts with Dr. Deepak (Uttam Kumar) who lives a wealthy lifestyle in a small town alongwith his father (Ashok Kumar) who is a Thakur. One day Deepak sees a gorgeous woman named Asha (Sharmila Tagore) who comes froma a very poor family. He falls in love with her and wants to marry her. When his father comes to know that Deepak loves Asha who is a poor girl and not for his type, he refuses for their marriage and would like to get Deepak to marry a woman from an equally wealthy family. But Deepak stands with his love which displeases Thakur. He asks Deepak to leave his house, never to return. After a few months his employee named Girdhari (Asit Sen) finds an abandoned child named Pratap, by the river bank. He would like to adopt him and therefore he asks Thakur. 

Thakur does not want anything to do with the child first but when he sees him for the first time, he agrees with Girdhari. After many years later Pratap (Rakesh Roshan) has also grown up and travels abroad to study in order to be a doctor. After that he returns and decides to work with a chemical company. Later he meets with a beautiful woman named Kiran (Moushumi Chatterjee), her father (Utpal Dutt) and an elderly man named Doctor. Pratap is disturbed after meeting doctor as he seems to know him very well. Doctor wants him to leave his job at the chemical company and start practicing medicine in the small town where they live. Nobody knows that the doctor whose real name is Deepak, is his biological father.And thus story goes. Overall, movie is nice and enjoyable.It did well at Box office.

Music of the movie is composed by Shyamal Mitra. Songs are sung in beautiful voices of  Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and K.J. Yesudas who gave their soulful voice to the songs.

Movie Review:

Anamika is a movie of drama and betrayal. Story is all set around a woman-hating writer named Devendra Dutt (Sanjeev Kumar). He is betrayed by the love of his life as she preffered getting married to another male settled in the USA. After that he decides to stay single and hates women. One day he is travelling with his uncle named Shiv Prasad (A.K. Hangal) and his secretary named Hanuman Singh (G. Asrani) sees a woman laying on the roadside. He stops the car and all of them moves to her. They find out that she is wounded and take her home. They call their family doctor named Irshad Hussain (Iftekhar) to examin her. Later on the next day she regains her conciousness and claims that she is the wife of Devendra.Devendra gets furious listening this and asks her to leave right now. But his uncle and Dr. Hussain persuade him to let her stay for a few days more as she is not perfectly well yet. After sometime an attempt of abducting her is made and fortunately Devendra comes to rescue her. Subsequently he falls in love with her and named her Anamika (Jaya Bhaduri). Later Devendra comes across several incidents that compelled him to believe that she is a prostitute by the name of Kanchan. But before Devendra can asks her anything, she disappears from his life. One night she once again meets him in a party where she refuses to identify him.Thus poor Devendra once again suffers his past. Rather, the movie is nice and interesting. It was appreciated and was liked by introverts more.
